Guðbjörg Alfreðsdóttir, General Manager of Vistor and Head of  Pharmaceutical Division

Mrs. Alfreðsdóttir has over 30 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales and marketing, of which she has been in leadership positions for over 20 years. Throughout the years she has represented the pharmaceutical industry in various tasks where she has either been appointed by the industry or the Government. She is the industry’s representative on the Pharmaceutical Pricing Committee. Mrs. Alfreðsdóttir was appointed by the Minister of Health to represent the industry on a committee with the task of revising the Pharmaceutical Act from 1994, and to develop future pharmaceutical strategy for Iceland. The committee completed the task in 2007. Mrs. Alfreðsdóttir is also appointed by the Minister of Health in the working group that is to put the strategy into action. She is also on the board of Frumtök, the Icelandic Association of the Pharmaceutical Industry.

Mrs. Alfreðsdóttir holds a Master Degree in Pharmacy from University of Iceland and The Danish University of Pharmaceutical Science and finished an AMP program at INSEAD in 2007. 




Sigtryggur (Siggi) Hilmarsson, General Manager Medical Division

Mr. Hilmarsson has extensive experience from the medical industry. Prior to joining Vistor, he was Director of Marketing for Radiometer America in the United States. He has also worked in international marketing of medical diagnostic equipment for Radiometer in Denmark and in pharmacokinetic studies for Pharmacia (now Pfizer) in Sweden.

Mr. Hilmarsson holds a Masters Degree in Pharmacy from University of Iceland and an MBA degree from Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University, The Netherlands.
