Veritas Capital, the parent company of Vistor, Distica and Artasan recently received the Progress award from the Icelandic Association of Women Entrepreneurs. The Progress award is awarded to a large Icelandic company that has actively employed female management talent.
Veritas Capital has a high percentage of women on all management levels. On the board of directors the level is 67%, on the top management team it is 40%. In total, 52% of the company’s managers and middle managers are women.
The Icelandic Association of Women Entrepreneurs (FKA) was founded in Iceland in April, 1999 and is a non-profit professional organisation for Icelandic based women business owners. Members are at present around 600.
